Introduction

The big day is finally here. You're about to take a test that will decide if you can pursue your dream of becoming a doctor or not. You need to be at your best, but with so many things happening at once it may seem impossible to handle. We understand how stressful this time can be for students and parents alike, so we have put together some tips on how to manage your time effectively during these busy weeks before your exams:

Wake up early in the morning

Getting up early in the morning is a very good habit to have, because it will help you to focus better, and also it makes learning more fun for you.

Have breakfast: Make sure that your breakfast consists of healthy food items like fruits, vegetables and whole grains. This will help you maintain a balanced diet and keep your body healthy throughout the day.

Get ready: It is important to be well groomed before going outside or anywhere else; this will make others respect you more as well as yourself too! After taking a bath and dressing up nicely, feel good about what you are wearing as well!

Exercise regularly

Exercise is one of the most effective ways of managing your time effectively. Regular exercise can greatly improve your memory and concentration, which in turn will help you take better notes and recall information faster when it comes time for revision or exam preparation. Additionally, exercise will improve your sleep quality, which is vital for retaining information that has been learned throughout the day.

Exercises such as jogging or brisk walking are great because they don’t require much planning ahead of time or special equipment beyond a pair of shoes and maybe some comfortable clothing if it's cold outside. You can also try yoga exercises at home, which require very little space but still provide plenty of benefits for mind body health including increased focus level and lower levels of stress hormones (which actually improves overall memory function). If neither sounds appealing to you then why not try something completely different? Swimming laps at the pool while listening to music through waterproof headphones could be just what you need to relax after a long day studying - just make sure not too fall asleep!

Make a proper time table and follow it

  • Make a time table for each day

  • Make a time table for each week

  • Make a time table for each month

  • Make a time table for each semester

  • Make a time table for each year

Don't give too much time to a single subject

The first thing that you need to remember is not to give too much time to a single subject. For instance, if you are studying for JEE Mains, it would be better if you did not study for more than 3 hours at a time. If one topic remains unsolved, then leave it and move on to another topic which has been completed or solved in lesser time so far.

Give yourself a break after every 2-3 hours - take rest and go out for some fresh air!

Manage your time effectively

  • Take a break after every 2 hours of studying. This will help you to concentrate better and stay fresh at the same time.

  • Do not study for more than 6 hours a day. It is important that you take a break and rest as well, so that your brain can work efficiently during the revision process.

  • Make a list of all the topics that you need to cover before taking any exam, be it JEE or NEET or any other competitive exam. You should make sure that you are covering each topic in detail through notes or mock tests etc so that there is no doubt in your mind when it comes down to answering questions related to those topics while appearing for an actual test like JEE Main Exam 2018 or NEET UG 2019 (CBSE).

Conclusion

We hope that you found these tips helpful. Remember that the key to success is hard work and persistence, so don't be discouraged if you don't get an A in the first try. Keep trying and never give up! Good luck on your exams!
